Kapnick Center for Business Institutions "VIP" Award
In honor of Business Institutions professor, Joan Zielinski, the Harvey Kapnick Center for Business Institutions has established the Business Institutions ‘VIP’ Award. This award will be presented to two Business Institutions professors yearly.
Professor Zielinski always made students feel at home in her classroom, proving to them that she truly cared about teaching her students to the best of her ability. She made herself accessible to students both in and out of the classroom, and always with a smile. We would like to give our students the opportunity to honor those teachers who embody this spirit.
All Business Institutions students are encouraged to fill out this form and nominate a professor that they think sincerely honors the memory of Joan Zielinski. A minute to pass along a few kind words is all it takes. Two winners will be chosen yearly.
Students may nominate more than one instructor for the award (separate submissions are required).
The winning instructor, along with the student who nominated the instructor and a friend, will be treated to a lunch.
Nominations for this award are accepted all year and winners are announced in early May of each year.
