How has Business Institutions impacted your career?
No program at Northwestern will get you more connected and ready for the real world than Business Institutions. I found my purpose in life and the knowledge I needed to accomplish it at Business Institutions. It's where I met my entrepreneurial mentors and some of my closest friends. It led to my ascension at Mashable and my career as an author, entrepreneur and venture capitalist.
If you want to change the world, go with Business Institutions.

How has Business Institutions impacted your career?
When I first got to college I was undecided about what I wanted to do with my life and career. I am now in my second year of law school, and Business Institutions has truly proved to be helpful at every step of my young career. I cannot speak highly enough of Business Institutions. Being a Business Institutions minor allows you to make an informed decision about the type of career you would like to have and helps you succeed in whatever you choose.

How has Business Institutions impacted your career?
Business Institutions changed my life. While it sounds like an overstatement, it’s actually true. The Business Institutions entrepreneurship class I took in 2009 is the reason I became an entrepreneur. Prior to that, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. But through the classes I took and the wonderful community of students I was fortunate enough to be a part of, I was able to discover my true passion for building organizations that help other people. Additionally, since graduating, I've utilized many of the concepts I learned in BIP to my own current business. This includes everything from creating a company's value proposition to building a financial model. That’s the incredible thing about BIP –– everything you learn has a real-world application. You are learning from the absolute best people who are true practitioners in the field. To this very day, I maintain many of the friendships I formed with BIP classmates and professors, who have provided me with invaluable business advice and opportunities. I owe a huge amount of my professional and personal development to what I learned in my BIP classes, and the amazing students and professors who guided me along the way. As with anything in life, it’s up to you to make the most of it, but BIP is the ultimate platform for you to do so.
